Textured Fringe With a Low Taper
Overview
A clean low taper keeps the edges sharp while the textured fringe + bulk in the back adds movement. It’s a modern, wearable look that provides great shape
Ask for this
A low taper on the temple and nape • Keep the bulk for a blowout effect • Cut the front to eyebrow length • Add texture with feather razor and/or point cutting
Styling
Starting with we slightly damp hair, add 3-4 sprays of sea salt(this step is not needed but can help the overall texture in the end). Put a diffuser on your blow dryer and dry on medium heat medium speed, using circular motions to help lift the hair off the scalp. Once dry add a dime sized amount of putty/clay to your hand and work that through your hair as evenly as possible. If you have texture powder instead, tap a light amount over the top and back of your head, then lift up hair and get a small amount of powder on the roots of your hair as well. Once the product is in the hair, use a scrunching motion to enhance texture, or pinch and twist hairs together.
Maintenance
To keep taper fresh a haircut every 2-4 weeks is best. if keeping just the overall shape is your main concern a haircut every 4-8 weeks will do the trick.
